We are interested to speak with land owners in Ireland who can lease 25 acres or more of their land for a minimum of 25 years to enable the installation of a solar farm. An index-linked rental income will be paid directly to the land owner who can still use the land for grazing smaller animals such as sheep or geese.

There are no permanent building products into the ground, and the field will be returned to you in its original state when the lease term ends.

It is desireable that the land be located within 2 kms of an ESB substation.

The opportunity is open to all land owners, be they corporate bodies or large land owners, however it may be ideally suited to part-time farmers with holdings of c.50-100 acres who want to achieve a long term increase to their income.

A solar park delivers a good, reliable income, normally at a higher level achieved than by actually farming the land.

From the land owners side, it couldn’t be more straight forward - you simply lease the land, and we handle the permitting, design, build and maintenance of the project.

Please contact us on info@greeninvestments.ie to discuss this further.

We can do an intial desktop survey to check if your land is suitable for a solar farm installation if you can send us a Google Earth or Google Maps file marking out the land involved.
